While Mykl was still alive, we often talked about using what we were learning to help other families. We learned from extraordinary professionals, friends, the VA, and through trial and error. We saw firsthand how ALS creates mounting costs for caregiving, medical equipment, home modifications, and everyday living expenses, often while household income declines.

That intention became NorCal ALS, Inc.

Our mission is simple: Provide direct financial assistance to qualified non-veteran ALS families, share practical information and resources with families navigating the disease, and help caregivers feel more prepared for the realities of caregiving.

100% of charitable donations received by NorCal ALS, Inc. go directly toward financial assistance for qualified ALS families.
