About Us
Mykl Morrissey was a man devoted to his daughter and wife, the great outdoors, bicycles, running, picking up trash, and helping others. His caregiving journey began in the Navy as a medic, blossomed into a career as a traveling ER nurse and eventually as a nurse practitioner. Mykl’s life was a testament to hard work, playfulness, and an unwavering commitment to making a difference.
Diagnosed with ALS in December 2023, Mykl faced his challenges with resilience, grit, and a smile that never wavered. His bravery and grace in the face of adversity continue to inspire us.

ALS is a progressive, terminal illness that ultimately results in complete paralysis and death, leaving individuals unable to care for themselves. Families affected by ALS face immediate and constantly changing needs for caregivers and medical equipment.
